Mr. Jan Collins, Manager of the Australian Mathematics Trust, has just confirmed and clarified that the role or status of the MTG, Philippines in relation to the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) has not changed. This means that the MTG, Philippines remains to hold exclusivity of AMC and Dr. Simon Chua is still the National Director of AMC in the Philippines. 

This announcement came after when AMC has realized its oversight in sending invitation letters to over 300 schools in the Philippines. In order to avoid confusion in on-line registration, schools are advised to ignore the letter since it was sent in error. Therefore, interested schools have to follow the same registration procedures as prescribed by MTG, Philippines.
