Please be informed that the Department of Education issued DepEd Advisory No. 598 s.2011 on December 1, 2011 stating among others the schedule of the International Mathematics Assessments for Schools (IMAS), that is, on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in all MTG Training Centers in the Philippines.

IMAS is a world class math assessment test for both the upper primary and lower junior secondary students. It is aimed at developing students’ performances in three cognitive dimensions: Knowing, Applying and Reasoning; and promoting effective learning of mathematics through a publicly recognized performance measuring platform.

Only those Upper Junior Primary (Grades 4, 5 and 6) and Junior Secondary (1st and 2nd year) students who are currently enrolled in the MTG 12-Saturday Training Program are required to take the IMAS during their regular Saturday training at 9 o'clock in the morning in their respective MTG Training Center. Participants are requested to be at the venue at 8 AM for the registration. 

Interested non-MTG trainee may participate in the IMAS provided they will deposit the payment of the registration fee (please ask the amount from the center coordinator) to:

Depositor should write the participant's complete, grade/year level, school name on the deposit slip. Please present the original deposit slip to the center coordinator prior to taking the IMAS test.
