The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild, (MTG) Philippines will be conducting a 3-day seminar-workshop for public and private school mathematics teachers that focuses on “Innovative Approaches and Trends to Math Contest Problems” on May 13,14 and 15, 2006 at Our Lady of Antipolo Retreat House, San Jose Street, Antipolo City, Rizal.
The seminar-workshop is aimed at training teachers with the latest trends and methods in dealing or solving international math contest problems and current trends in Mathematics. Through this seminar, teachers will be able to enhance their teaching strategies and improve knowledge on content, which will benefit not only the student-trainees but also the learners in the classroom level.
Interested participants may start registering now until the deadline on April 30, 2006. A registration fees will be charged to each participant which cover the following: accommodation, ID for member, certificate of MTG membership, T-shirts, souvenir program and training materials. Below is the detailed amount of registration for MTG members and non-MTG members.
MTG members - Php 2,500.00 for early registration and Php 2, 800.00 for late registration
Non-MTG members - Php. 2,700.00 for early registration and Php. 3,000.00 for late registration.
