NAMES OF PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS IN THE 2009 AMC DISCLOSED
The young Filipino math wizards will troop at the different designated contest venues in every region across the country for the 2009 Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) scheduled on Thursday, August 6, 2009. More than 2500 Pinoy whiz kids from grade 3 to 2nd year college who will be with the other 600,000 participants from various countries join the world’s largest mathematics competition.
This year, close to 100 schools in the Philippines have made their promising math students to join in any of the following categories: Senior (for incoming 1st and 2nd year college students), Intermediate (for incoming 3rd and 4th year HS students), Junior (for incoming 1st and 2nd year HS students), Upper Primary (for incoming grades 5 and 6 pupils) and Middle Primary (for incoming grades 3 and 4 pupils). The AMC recognized by the Department of Education and Science Education Institute of the Department of Science Technology has acknowledged the impressive mathematical ability of the Filipino kids who end up winners of prize, high distinction, distinction and credit awards for several years now.
Below are the names of schools whose students have officially registered with the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild, Philippines to participate in the 2009 AMC. Nevertheless, those names of schools are not listed below but have paid their registration fees should email immediately at simon_l_chua@yahoo.com. We further request the concerned school to immediately send via LBC the original deposit slips to the MTG National Office with the address:
