The Mathematics Trainers' Guild, Philippines in coordination with the Philippine Star and SM Supermalls will be launching the 8^th Philippine Sudoku Super Challenge (PSSC), a number puzzle contest attracting not only elementary and high school students but also professionals and people from all walks of life.

Sudoku aficionados need to look forward on these dates, Elimination Round: Saturday, October 19, 2013 at selected SM Supermalls and Final Round: Saturday, February 1, 2014 at SM City North EDSA Annex.

To qualify in the elimination round, each interested participant must submit entries of 20 correctly-answered original cut-outs of Sudoku puzzles published in the Philippine Star anytime within August 31 –October 11, 2013. All entries must be submitted to the MTG center coordinator of the respective area on or before October 12, 2013. Registration is FREE.

Qualified participants to the ELIMINATION round and the contest venue will be announced in the website: http://www.pinoysudoku.ph.

These are the following categories which Sudoku solvers can participate in: Sudoku Whiz Kid (Elementary Level) and Sudoku Wizard (High School Level) and Sudoku Master (College and Professional Level).
