“THE THINKING CHILD” WINS THE MTG T-SHIRT DESIGN CHALLENGE

The t-shirt with the winning design of “The Thinking Child” bested the three other entries in the MTG T-shirt Design Challenge, a contest initiated by Conec Clothing and Accessories for the MTG Philippines in connection with the celebration of its 20th anniversary in October 2015.
Andrhea San Gabriel, grade 8 student of University of Baguio – Science High School is the designer of the t-shirt which garnered a total score of 77.40%. San Gabriel will receive a cash prize of Php10,000.00 which will be presented on the Partners Fellowship Day at Manila Grand Opera Hotel, 925 Rizal Avenue corner Doroteo Jose Sts. Sta. Cruz, Manila on Saturday, 9AM, October 24, 2015.
Each entry was judged twice. The first round of judging constituting the 50% was based on the following criteria: Adults Votes – 10%, Students Votes – 10%, Originality – 10%, Caption/Message – 10%, and Judges’ Choice – 10%. The second round with a weight of 50% was based on the saleability.
The MTG Philippines will present a certificate of recognition to the designers of the other entries.
