Three students from the Philippines achieved a perfect score in the 2015 Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest (CIMC), an announcement made by the Center of Education in Mathematics and Computing of the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Yielding the CIMC medal for obtaining a faultless performance and a score above a certain threshold are Andres Rico Gonzales from Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila and Stefan Marcus Ong, Jinger Chong from St. Jude catholic School.

Meanwhile, Clyde Wesley Ang from Chiang Kai Shek College hauled a similar medal for his outstanding feat in the 2015 Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC).

The CIMC and CSMC school champions will receive their medals during the 10th Philippine Sudoku Super Challenge National Finals, The Skydome, SM North EDSA, Quezon City, Saturday, 2PM, January 30, 2016.

Furthermore, the following Filipino math wizards who ranked in the top twenty-five percent of the contestants in the CIMC and CSMC 2015 will receive a certificate of distinction which will be distributed to them by their respective center coordinators during the 12-Saturday session.
