Ten Filipino math wizards have been named to compete in the 2016 Wizards at Mathematics International Competition (WIZMIC) which will be held at City Montessori School, Lucknow, India on October 22 – 26, 2016.

The students after having attended the more than a month intensive training in summer are not only geared up but also committed to fight for gold. The mathletes assigned to this year’s WIZMIC will have to meet with their peers from 11 countries like South Africa, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and host country India.

The prospective participants must make their confirmation of participation with the subject header, “ WIZMIC2016” at this email address, mtg.mco@gmail.com on or before Tuesday, May 31, 2016. The person-in-charge, after receiving the confirmation, will send the registration form and other initial requirements for compliance.
