THREE FILIPINO MATH WIZARDS SCORE PERFECT IN 2022 AMC

Oct 13, 2022

The proverbial ‘No one is perfect’ has exempted the three Filipino mathletes for their flawless performance in the 2022 Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) held in August this year.

It was obviously a practice-makes-perfect feat for the following perfect scorers, Sebastian Alistair  Lao, Grade 8, from the International School Manila; Alexander Peter Benedict Lomibao, Grade 8 from the Philippine Science High School – Main Campus; and Jerome Austin Te, Grade 9 from Jubilee Christian Academy whose blockbuster achievement has gained them the covetous Peter O’Halloran certificate.

The perfect scorers with these three other math wizards have been declared recipients of the prize award for their close-to-perfect performance. They are Andrea Gabrielle Braganza, Grade 3 from  BHC Educational Institution, Inc. - La Union; Robert Henrik Uy, Grade 6, from St. John’s Institute - Bacolod City; and Filbert Ephraim Wu, Grade 12, from Victory Christian International School.

The Philippines also has obtained a total of 22 high distinction awards, 124 distinction awards, 256 Credit awards, and 291 proficiency awards.

Congratulations!
