The Australasian School Science Competition has been re-scheduled on July 2005 instead on May 2005.

The arrangement of new schedule was compromised after the teleconference with the Executive Director of Educational Assessment Center of Australia. Primarily, the idea of re-scheduling the Australasia Science Contest was due to the difficulty encountered by schools in contacting their students since most students report to their school by June 2005.
