All those participants to the 2008 Australian Mathematics Competition, Rio Tinto Science Contest and ICASS who submitted their deposit slips as proof of their payment for the registration fee through fax are advised to send via the courier the original deposit slips with explicit stated information such as the name of the participant, incoming grade/year for SY 2008-2009, name of school and the contest being participated.

We are requiring this new procedure for purpose of verification or counter checking because we found out that entries in some faxed documents have been altered and manipulated which in effect have affected the documents’ authenticity. Please mail your original deposit slips to:

Those participants who may have submitted the original deposit slips to their respective MTG center coordinators or Math coordinators are equally advised to find time to inquire from them if they already have forwarded the deposit slips to the MTG National Office. It should be noted that the payment you made was based on meeting a particular deadline. If your coordinator still holds your deposit slips, then you might be bound to pay the extra charges as stated in the registration form.
