ALL IS SET FOR 1ST ASIAN MATH SUMMER CAMP AND MATH TEACHERS CIRCLE SEMINAR-WORKSHOP
The side by side activities organized by the MTG, Philippines in coordination with the Chiu Chang Mathematics Education Foundation of Taiwan draw much excitement not only from the Grades 5,6 pupils and 1styear, 2nd year high school students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines joining the 1st Asian Math Summer Camp t but also from the math teachers who will be attending the Math Teachers Circle Seminar-Workshop on April 28, to May 7, 2009 at Richville Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
Going through the objectives of both events, one can truly see what the actions can be when student participants will resort to strategies to be first among the equals while teachers themselves can anticipate what latest math concepts, contents and teaching methods they can obtain from the internationally known math experts. Whatever insights these mathletes have with the 1st Asian Math Summer Camp, only “enhancing experiences and exploring opportunities” will be certain to transpire in the 10-day encampment. Of course, the math teachers who choose to spend a more worthwhile summer activity by being in the seminar-workshop are assured to bring home to their respective schools the ways to make math class full of fun and enjoyment.
Note: All teacher and student participants must bring 1 copy 2 x 2 picture for the ID.

A registration fee of Php 4,000.00 per participant shall be charge for the 3-day seminar-workshop inclusive of seminar kits, honorarium for the math experts and meals (am snack, buffet lunch, pm snack).
