Six young Pinoy science wizards who perfected the 2008 Rio TINTO Big Science Competition will receive certificates from no less than the Executive Director of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT), Dr. Peter Taylor in October at an appropriate venue to be announced later.The perfect scorers who mostly come from the schools in Metro Manila and one from Region 5 are the following:1. The impressive performance of these high school students led to get hold of eighteen certificates of High Distinction and fifty four certificates of Distinction. The significant increase of awardees in this year’s Rio TINTO Big Science Competition indicates that our students are positive in taking the challenge of this contest.
