The YMIITP is the second phase of the training after the 12 – Saturday training which is conducted in all MTG centers nationwide. The YMIITP which is popularly known as ‘In-house’ will be conducted for four days and participants will attend 8 to10 - hour lecture sessions a day and will take a battery of quizzes and examinations.
This year as in the past two years, MTG Philippines will NOT HAVE "visiting hour" for parents/guardians to enable trainees to connect or socialize with one another as they make use of the free time to share and discuss math lessons through peer teaching.
Parents and guardians are being informed that the opening program in all three (3) batches is exclusive for the YMIITP trainees only. Therefore, parents and guardians will just DROP-OFF their children at the entrance or at any designated area of the training venue and then leave the trainees to do the registration themselves.
Parents are invited to witness the closing program scheduled on the last day of the YMIITP training. Trainees are required to wear their school uniform during the CLOSING/Awarding ceremonies.
Furthermore, trainees have the following t-shirts to bring to be used in the 2018 Young Mathematicians In-house Intensive Training Program (YMIITP):
