MTG RECOGNIZES ACHIEVERS OF 2010 MCFKTP

Jan 27, 2011

The Mathematics Trainer's Guild, Philippines will acknowledge the performance of its trainees in the 2010 Mathematical Challenge for Filipino Kids Training Program (MCFKTP) by giving badges to top scorers and to kids with outstanding performance.

Thus, the MTG, Philippines through the center coordinator will present a Top Scorer Award to a trainee who obtains the highest score in all quizzes and who performs most remarkably in the international correspondence contests.

Furthermore, other than meeting the quota of the number of trainees by a particular MTG training center, the Outstanding Performance Award will be given to a trainee who has

  1.   an average or above average score in all quizzes;
  2.   a perfect attendance; and
  3.   exhibited a good behavior in the class.

Dr. Simon L. Chua, MTG President, believes that achievers in the MCFKTP deserve to be acknowledged in order to motivate the other trainees to put their best foot forward. Dr Chua said that recognizing our young math wizards' effort or performance at this early stage will inspire them more to work hard and to be more serious during the training.

This year, MTG National Office, based on the report submitted by the respective center coordinator, has allocated the number of awards that each center gets. Below is the list of MTG training centers with the corresponding number of badges that they are likely to receive for their outstanding trainees.

NOTE: The badges will be sent to the center coordinators who will identify the recipients of the Top Scorer Award and Outstanding Performance Award. For further inquiries, please contact Mr. Anthony Ang, Chair of the MCFKTP Award Committee at his mobile phone number 09178483418 or at his email address mtg.trainingtopscorer@gmail.com
