The mayor of the City of Taguig, the Hon. Ma. Laarni Cayetano led the awarding of winners in the closing and awarding ceremonies held at Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier mall in Bonifacio Global City. Senator Alan Peter Cayetano who gave an inspiring message led a host of special guests including Dr. Elizabeth Fontanilla, Director of DOST-SEI, DepEd officials and ambassadors of some participating countries.
One poignant memory of the closing program was the show of concern of some countries to the plight of the victims of typhoon Yolanda. These nine countries: Taiwan, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Brunei Darussalam and Kazakhstan turned over cash and food stuff to Mayor Cayetano through Dr. Simon Chua, MTG President.
The 10th IMSO for Primary School Students was made possible through the sponsorship of SM Supermalls, Phoenix Publishing House, Collins International Trading Corporation, PHILFLEX, Petron, San Miguel Corp., Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., Office of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and MTG kids with their full support of their Parents .
