The International Mathematics Assessments for Schools (IMAS) had been the last correspondence math contest in 2012. From more than 1500 participants who braved the 1st round of IMAS in December 2012, only 385 successful entrants were given recognition for their performance.

For the middle primary, only 2 participants received the high distinction certificates, they were Eion Nikolai S. Chua of MGC New Life Christian Academy and Naomi Anne A. King of St. Jude Catholic School. The 16 other middle primary graders got distinction certificates and 72 got credit certificates.

This year, only two from the upper primary level received the high distinction certificates. Making it to the top list were Conner G. Manuel of DLSU - Science and Technology Complex- Biñan and Jaymi Mae L. Ching of Jubilee Christian School. Furthermore, only 15 participants managed to get the distinction certificates while 80 others made in the long list of recipients of the credit certificates.

The participants of the junior secondary level, totaling 15 of them made the most of the competition by scoring impressively which earned them to receive the high distinction certificates. The recipients had been Adrian Reginald Sy, Mikaela Angelina Uy, Andrea Jaba, Martin Lewis Koa and Matthew Ryan S. Tan of St. Jude Catholic School; Lu Christian Ong, Jason Carlo O. Carranceja and Kaye Janelle Yao of Grace Christian College; Miko Johnson Co, Dielle Tio andBenedict Ryan C. Tiu of St. Stephen's High School; Raenelle Ean Ang Ngo and Clyde Wesley Ang of Chiang Kai Shek College; Emilio Paul L. Nogales of Philippine Science High School - Main Campus and Reine Jiana Reynoso of Philippine Science High School - Main Campus. Meanwhile, 39 of the math wizards in this level received distinction certificates and 144 got the credit certificates.
