MORE IMAS FINALISTS REVEALED
The number of finalists for the final round of the 2018 International Mathematics and Assessments for Schools (IMAS) has increased to one hundred seventy after the organizer has added thirty-three more participants mostly from the intermediate division.
The IMAS final round is conducted for those students who achieved the top 5% to 10% of all participants in each country. In this round, the participants will solve fifteen problems and those whose scores are in the top 5% percentile will be awarded gold medals; participants in the top 6% to 15% percentile will be awarded silver medals and participants whose scores are in the top 16% to 30% percentile will receive a bronze medal.
These are the additional students qualified to participate in the IMAS final round in March this year:
