The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild, Philippines (MTG), in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology- Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) will be conducting the 2011 Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) on Thursday, August 4, 2011. This mathematics competition is considered as one of the largest competitions in the world and is administered simultaneously in different countries.

In the Philippines just as in many countries, the AMC is the most awaited math contest today for it continuous to gain permanence in the calendar of activities in many schools. To give other interested AMC entrants, the MTG has scheduled the deadline of registration on Tuesday July 5, 2011.
