PH TEAMS GRAB 13 GOLD IN SINGAPORE IMC
The Philippines' top math wizards have proven anew by winning 13 gold, 25 silver and 44 bronze medals in their participation in the recently concluded International Mathematics Competition (IMC)-Singapore held at Global Indian International School at Mei Chin Road last July 29- August 2, 2011.
The Philippines sent a total of 123 mathletes to compete with the more than 1000 math wizards from China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. As a result, 82 of our Pinoy math champs went home holding their medals, standing taller, shining brighter and feeling prouder for their latest achievements.
No less than Dr. Filma Brawner, Director of the DOST- Science Education Institute, who was heading the Philippine delegations commended and congratulated the whole members of the PH team for their remarkable feats.

The Philippine teams were composed of the MTG officers headed Dr. Simon Chua who showed great pleasure with how the Filipino math wizards fared in the IMC-Singapore.
