Filipino students have once again showcased their mathematical prowess by winning an impressive number of awards in the prestigious 2023 Australia Mathematics Competition which was conducted on August 5, 2023.

The event, which brings together some of the brightest young minds in the world, witnessed a stunning display of Filipino talent and hard work. Among the highlights of the competition, students from various schools across the Philippines secured an impressive haul of 5 prize awards, an impressive feat that speaks to their dedication and commitment to mathematics. Additionally, 16 students took home high distinction awards, a testament to their exceptional mathematical abilities. Further showcasing their excellence, a whopping 124 students managed to earn distinction awards, highlighting their outstanding performance in the contest. Moreover, the mathematics skills of 262 students were acknowledged with credit awards, and another 268 math wizards were recognized with proficiency awards.

These Filipino math wizards have undoubtedly demonstrated a remarkable understanding of mathematical concepts and an ability to apply them in a competitive setting.
